I totally forgot to post about this!! Mostly, because between my Mom and I, we called EVERYONE to let them know what was going on...
When I was 26 wks, I woke up with horrible pains in my lower abdomen, but no spotting, (which was a blessing) Just horrible pain, and pressure in my lower abdomen... The first thing I did was get in the shower, because most times throughout my pregnancy, when I'm aching, or feeling a little sick the hot shower makes me feel better, AND if I was going to the hospital, I wanted to be clean! :)
I called Dr. Silverio, and the nurse said it sounded like it could be pre-term labor, and to go head to Lexington Medical Center ER. Dr. Silverio (my OB) was there, because he was on call that day!
My Mom and I packed up, and headed to the hospital. I texted Ashley (Brandon's sister) because I knew she was in class, ( this was around 10 am) and got a hold of Brandon, to tell him the news..Of course he was beyond worried!!
I got to the ER, and they immediately put me in a wheelchair and wheeled me up to the Maternity Assesment Center..(I have already pre-admitted to the hospital, which was a plus, no paperwork!) They hooked me up to all the same things they hook you up to when you are in labor...Ashley came up and sat while we waited to hear what was happening.. Basically, it was not pre-term labor! and they have no idea what it was!! But thank goodness it has not come back, and at my 28 wks appointment Monday he said the baby and I looked perfectly healthy!! :) So, just a little scare! but we still have 11 wks to go until baby Mason is here!!
