*Brandon's Birthday Bash*

Brandon turned 23 on Friday, and we had a fabulous time at Yamato's! It was kind of last minute, but I managed to get everyone there , and we had so much fun! I told everyone to BE ON TIME, because they will not seat you until everyone is there, and we had a reservation for 12! Brandon and I got there first at 15 til, and no one was there yet, by 8 we were still missing 4 people! So, of course, I am texting and calling because all of us were starving! Finally the rest of the crew gets there at about 8:45 p.m.! So much for on time!!! But we had so much fun, and continued the party at Jason, Mike and Jonny's!!

Encouraging Words...

I will extol the LORD at all times;his praise will always be on my lips.My soul will boast in the LORD;let the afflicted hear and rejoice.Glorify the LORD with me;let us exalt his name together.I sought the LORD, and he answered me;he delivered me from all my fears.Those who look to him are radiant;their faces are never covered with shame.This poor man called, and the LORD heard him;he saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him,
and he delivers them.

Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

Fear the LORD, you his saints,
for those who fear him lack nothing.

The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

Come, my children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

Whoever of you loves life
and desires to see many good days,

keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from speaking lies.

Turn from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it.

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their cry;

the face of the LORD is against those who do evil,
to cut off the memory of them from the earth.

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

A righteous man may have many troubles,
but the LORD delivers him from them all;

he protects all his bones,
not one of them will be broken.

Evil will slay the wicked;
the foes of the righteous will be condemned.

The LORD redeems his servants;
no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.

Just Some Thoughts.....

Brandon has only been gone a week now, and half of that I have spent with him in Boone. And I still have overwhelming feelings of missing him sooo much! Ususally we go to dinner every night, or eat with my parents, and for a year and a half I have seen him pretty much everyday. Brandon is my best friend. Even through all our struggles, and people trying to break us up, and mistakes we have both made, this time I have spent in thought of how much I miss him, and how much a big part of my life he is....

If anything, I am thinking these periods of time apart is making our love grow more and more everyday. I already love him unconditionally, but now I know I will never take a second of our time together for granted. We have talked more these past couple of days, reassuring each other how much we mean to each other, and how important our love is to one another. My heart is truly filled with love for him, and some people might have thought this move would break us up, but the total opposite has happened, it has made us closer, and it will continue to. Every night I have prayed for God to give me strength and to guide Brandon in the right direction, and He has answered my prayers above and beyond what I asked....

*Trip to Boone... :) *

Brandon moved to Boone, NC to finish school at Appalachian State University Monday. Since school starts Monday we decided it would be nice to see each other before our hectic schedules start between school and work! I did not like it at first, because I am really not a winter time, cold weather person! But, Brandon and I of course had a blast because we were spending time together! We went up this huge mountain, it was raining, freezing, and very foggy. But, we still managed to get out and walk around a little and see the waterfalls and the view of the other mountains. Than to finish our day we had ice cream in 30 degree weather!! and watched a bunch of movies because the weather was not great! Hopefully next time I will be ready to ski and it won't be raining it will be snowing!! It was a great and fun trip and I can't wait to go again!

Yay for 2008!

New Years Eve we were pretty clueless as to what we were doing until the last minute. After twenty texts and phone calls we finally decided to go hang out with our friend Jason downtown. It was just the three of us for a while until some other friends showed up. Even though it was just the three of us we had a blast! I am so glad we finally made the decision to go to Jason's :) Brandon and I had worked all day , so needless to say we were kind of tired, and staying up until mindnight was a chore! but we did, and we had tons of fun! Our 2nd New Years together, it is so exciting! Our second kiss at midnight for a new year! I hope 2008 is filled with new friends, our growing love everyday and seeing Brandon's smile everyday for another year!
